Laura Maria (couturier) and her sister, Hilde (healthcare advisor) founded Hills & Field and designed the first series of greeting cards at the peak of the corona epidemic in the spring of 2020.

'Unfortunately there are plenty of reasons to get sad. Friends and family who lose jobs or become incredibly ill,' says Hilde. 'With the holidays in mind, we thought, how can spread some love, light and humor?'

According to Laura, 'In recent years I have designed not only fashion but also art that regularly ended up on wedding cards. That gave me the idea to start designing cards for the coming holidays.'
